[Closed] Day(care) Dreamers
Your name is Dave Strider. Usually you'd start this by saying how cool you are, but that's not actually true. You aren't actually all that cool nor do you actually care. You're old enough to have graduated college but you never went. You just can't really do this people thing, which is why it's so surprising as to how you got your job. You're a daycare worker at some place in the richer area of the city. Kids love you. You have no idea why. It's really weird, but you're not going to try and make a big deal out of it. You get paid well after all. Even though it's your main income, you actually do fairly well with your website. You DJ and you release original music on it and it makes pretty good money. Enough that if you ever lost your job, it would still support you.
You kind of grew up as this really tall, skinny shit. It's your damn metabolism and the only reason you aren't as skinny as you are is because your Bro made sure of it and you actually work out when you have time. That doesn't help with you being paler than any Twilight vampire and being assaulted by freckles. Also your hair kind of freaks people out or everyone thinks you dye it or something. Whatever.
It so happens that you're waiting for the last kid to get picked up. You're still trying to figure out how on Earth Rose somehow became a mom, but whatever. Apparently someone else is picking the kid up today and he's waiting for that person to do so. Seriously, it would be nice if they weren't so late.

His hand is gently placed on Dave's cheek. Thumb stroking his cheek to soothe. The kiss was getting more intense, and just everything started to feel rushed. They had all evening to do this, and John wanted nothing more than for Dave to not be scared anymore. There would absolutely be nothing to be afraid of.]

He gently grabs Dave's hand, lacing their fingers together.]
Don't hide your eyes, they're beautiful.

Don't fuck with me John. I know for a fuckin' fact that the last thing someone thinks is that my eyes are purdy. [Oh god damn it. His nerves were really getting to him and his Southern twang was really shining through.] I already know people think my eyes are creepy as shit.
no subject
You should know by now that I'm different from those people. Different from anyone you've ever been with. I think your eyes are gorgeous, and no one ever took the time to appreciate how beautiful they are.
[His nerves must have been going out of whack. His accent was showing through very well. John leans up and catches his lips very briefly again.] Not a damn thing creepy about you.

He shifted his gaze away from John, blond eyelashes fluttering a bit. It was dark enough to keep his shades off, but he still winced a bit every so often out of instinct. They immediately shut when John kissed him, automatically kissing the other back, hands fisting the sheets around John's head.] You don't have to lie to me to make me feel better.

[He turned his head again, and kissed Dave's cheek, then his forehead- holding him pretty close. He cared about Dave so much.]
You won't change my mind on this, I hope you know.
no subject
[He wants to shove you away so bad. Why did he end up falling so hard for you. He hates it so much.]
You're the hugest idiot I've ever met. You know that?
no subject
[He was also persistent, and strives for the things he wants. Which is what is allowing him to pepper kisses on this emotional mess of a Strider right now.
He just felt like Dave needed some love.]
no subject
You're too much, dude. I'm tired. [Today has been mostly an emotional roller coaster. He doesn't want to deal with more.]
no subject
Wanna take another nap? i mean we're already here and everything. [Today was mostly John being hungover and John being sleepy. Also John comforting Dave.]

Then what do you suggest we do?
no subject
Maybe we can get food. I'm starving. What time is it anyways?
no subject
[He looks at the clock on the dresser.]
Quarter past seven. We could probably go get something from McDonalds, or order a pizza, we could maybe go get some chinese? Anything sounds good right about now.
no subject
[Getting ready is too much work.] You mistaken me hungry enough to actually leave the apartment right now.
no subject
The best part is that he is going to pay for it, not Dave.]
Alright, it'll be here in thirty minutes. What do we do until then?
no subject
World domination. Whatever the fuck you want to do, John.
no subject
I don't know what to do. I'm partially still getting rid of a headache, I'm starving, and the pizza wait is going to be the longest wait of our lives.
no subject
[Dave is being vague and he's going to turn his back to John.]
no subject
What do you mean by that?
no subject
[Dave is keeping his back turned to you.]
no subject
That didn't sound like nothing.
no subject
[Not that he seems to want to talk about anything in general.
But Dave is snuggling up against John, if that makes it any better.]
