Your name is Dave Strider. Usually you'd start this by saying how cool you are, but that's not actually true. You aren't actually all that cool nor do you actually care. You're old enough to have graduated college but you never went. You just can't really do this people thing, which is why it's so surprising as to how you got your job. You're a daycare worker at some place in the richer area of the city. Kids love you. You have no idea why. It's really weird, but you're not going to try and make a big deal out of it. You get paid well after all. Even though it's your main income, you actually do fairly well with your website. You DJ and you release original music on it and it makes pretty good money. Enough that if you ever lost your job, it would still support you.

You kind of grew up as this really tall, skinny shit. It's your damn metabolism and the only reason you aren't as skinny as you are is because your Bro made sure of it and you actually work out when you have time. That doesn't help with you being paler than any Twilight vampire and being assaulted by freckles. Also your hair kind of freaks people out or everyone thinks you dye it or something. Whatever.

It so happens that you're waiting for the last kid to get picked up. You're still trying to figure out how on Earth Rose somehow became a mom, but whatever. Apparently someone else is picking the kid up today and he's waiting for that person to do so. Seriously, it would be nice if they weren't so late.

[Dave tugs at John's hair a bit. A reflexive action as he licks John's lips a little hesitantly before parting his own. He didn't have to outwardly say what John had to do next.

He was testing his own limits more than John's. Seeing how far he can let himself go before he clams up.]

[John physically relaxes, because hair pulling felt really nice if it wasn't over done. Nah, John was pretty aware of what was going on. He parted his lips. Hesitantly he slipped his tongue past Dave's lips, not really prodding around hard enough to be considered startling.

John's hands settle on Dave's hips, gripping gently.]

[This wasn't so bad. He can still hear his heart caught in his throat and how fast it was beating in his ears, but this wasn't bad. He started kissing back a little more willingly. Less shy or nervous about it. He keeps his fingers tangled in John's hair.]

[John's thumbs were stroking Dave's sides. John was resisting having wandering hands just yet, he would wait until Dave was completely comfortable with this.

He pulls back, dragging his teeth gently on Dave's bottom lip. He takes a moment to breathe and be close to Dave. They didn't have to be done. John could literally just make out with Dave all night if he would allow it.]

[Except Dave is making the most ridiculous squeaks and embarrassing sounds. You asshole, he's ticklish. Stop that. He swats at John's hands, because that's really distracting and he's trying to not laugh into their kiss.

Except that sound? That was more like a moan than anything and his face starts turning red because John might have made him moan. Oh shit.]

[John wants to tell Dave how cute those little sounds are. Instead of grasping the same spot again, John's hands grab Dave's and pull him even closer. With those sounds he's making it's going to be hard to resist maybe just kissing along Dave's defined jawline.

Meaning: Yeah John definitely heard Dave, and wow that was kind of hot and an okay thing.]

[He lets out an audible gasp this time. Woah, John. Where is your mouth going and also holy shit, don't stop because that feels really nice and he'll kill you if you stop.

For the life of him, he honestly has no idea where to really put his hands at this moment, so he wraps his arms around John's neck, fingers threading with his hair lightly.]

[John is just being affectionate. Goodness Dave. His lips are making a stop at Dave's neck however. John has the bright idea that he's going to leave a mark on Dave.

Dave had better stop him now if he doesn't want this to happen. The hands in his hair are only encouraging him.]

[Holy shit, he takes care of kids remember? Except he's so distracted that he hasn't even considered that John is going to leave a mark and it's going to be embarrassing.

He just shudders, goosebumps running up his arms. It's been a really long time since he's been in this kind of situation again.]

[Oh, John knows. If Dave wears a collared shirt or a really cozy hoodie this might be okay to cover up. But John is working on making that mark really pretty. Hm.

John's hands go back to resting Dave's hips. It's been a long time since he ever thought he would be inn this situation again.]

[God, you're such a dick, John. A really affectionate and loving dick. But still a dick.

But Dave is finally speaking up.] John, where is this leading too?

[longwinded]

[John pulls away from Dave's neck. He has to stop and think about this carefully because it was horridly obviously where this was going to lead to if they didn't stop.

John didn't want to stop, but if Dave did then he would respect that.]

It's going to lead to us being naked. If that is where you will allow it to go.

I...

Are you sure? [It wasn't really a no so much he wasn't sure whether John might regret this later. He'd...probably be fine with it. More than fine. He just didn't want to wake up and this all was some huge mistake they never should have gotten into.]

I'm sure, Dave.

[It was a solid answer too. John was sure he wanted to do this. Of course he had mixed feelings at first because he didn't realize he was going to fall this hard for Dave.]

I'm not going to ditch you, or use you, or any of that. I'm here to stay, for as long as you'll have me. [John had never found himself so supportive with a guy he could literally butt heads with if worse came to worse.]

[Dave analyzed John behind his shades, weighing John's words. John never seemed like a liar, being too obtuse and kind of blunt if anything.

After a second hesitation, Dave was peeling his shirt off him. He's littered in freckles and god damn was he pale. On the upside, he wasn't gross feeling because he hasn't had a reason to put on sunscreen today. He let's his shirt drop to the floor.]

[John was going to be painfully blunt. He didn't lie unless it was going to be personally beneficial- and in this situation the truth could mean everything.

John places his hands on Dave's chest, letting them run down and over his sides to rest at where his pajama pants began. He doesn't dare dip below just yet. He's still gauging Dave's reaction.]

[He shivers against John's touch. His hands were cold against his warm skin. He glances down and looks back at John's face. He leans in to press kisses against John's throat, burying his face against the crook of it.]

You can go farther.

[longwinded]

[John tips his head back a little to accommodate Dave's. His hands are wander beneath the waistband, taking a good grab at Dave's ass. While keeping a hand planted on Dave's rear, he experimentally rolls his hips upward.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ. He was a lot more turned on than he originally thought.]

[He arches his back, his chest pressing against John's own. He let's out a shuddering breath follows by a pleased little whimper. John can probably tell how hard he is right now.]

Mmm...that feels nice.

[John doesn't stop rolling his hips then. It starts becoming a nice rhythm and John is gasping at every other rock of his hips. this shit was going to get old fast.

But what of Dave, what would his reaction be and how long until he starts to try and freakout. John would just have to be reassuring in this whole thing.]

Ahh, you feel the best. The literal fucking best.

We haven't even completely stripped, you goober.

[He keeps his face buried in the crook of John's neck. He doesn't want to outright ask, but he feels like they should move to the bedroom. Or deal with the lights or something. But that would mean stopping and he didn't want to stop either.

Don't care. You're gorgeous.

[To a degree, he had always thought Dave was radiant. Maybe not gorgeous, until he really got a good look. But radiant was a good word. If Dave wants to move then he's going to have to speak up.

Even if John isn't sure doing this in the living room, on a couch is the best place.]

[He hates being an inconvenience. Augh.]

It's too bright. [He can't take his shades off. Life is hard. He hates making this so awkward, holy shit.]

[John stops though, and he knows to be understanding about the light sensitivity thing. So he kind of shuffles and when he goes to stand? He has Dave where he can carry him if he'll just hold on.]

We'll go to your room then.

[He kind of just clings to the other, grumbling about how he didn't have to be carried.]
